well yes, geographical/geopolitical...but isn't it more interresting to switch perpespectives by using old terms and to see how we can use them now and HERE.
because we lack of a common lingua politica i have the feeling we have the need to search for words.
'the west' became an ideological term. now we still live in the west but speaking politics things could be still far away from us.
or what would be if we could decide against ourselves?
i agree we need to search for 'em now & HERE c'mon lingua politica words but fear that 'em old words get dismissed too easy too fast by 'em in the victorious west exactly 'koz it aint so victorious no more. may the phorce be with you!
