This is so contemporary!

To explain a bit more: Tino S. became known some years ago for his performances with museum guards singing "this is so contemporary, this is so contemporary...!" in galleries and museums. Because he refuses to document his art, why-soever, somebody else did the video above.so far no problemo. But "if he can’t eliminate capitalistic exchange, at least he can change the nature of what is being exchanged" Segahl argues. Hello? Are you serious? How can he argue he's not really exchanging something? because he's "eliminating the waste that naturally comes with object-based work." And what about the exihibition itself? the act of performing in itself? This guy's having exibitions around the world in Guggenheim Museum, Venice Biennale and so on and so on,...?
Friends let's not be foolish, even though i even might like the paradoxal idea of putting a main question of arts into a performance: "Am i doing something or am i doing nothing?" As an artist, who's gonna solve that for me...please think for yourself. It counts Busta Rhymes': "Don't this shit make a nigga wanna (JUMP JUMP!!!!)???"
